I had my reasons to buy the PS3, it matched what I wanted in a game console, cost wise it was the most expensive. If I wanted a console just for gaming, I would have bought a Xbox 360 because of the price. I did consider the Wii before I purchased the PS3 I liked the interactivity a lot and thought my children would love it too.
